Apico now have a range of Titanium nuts and bolts that are CNC machined from hi grade 6AL-4V Titanium. Available in M6 & M8 head sizes, with various lengths (M6: 12,14,16,18,20,25,30,35,40mm M8: 16,20,25,30,35,40mm), and drilled bolt heads to add safety wire in the places where you may need it.
Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5), is classed as an alpha-beta alloy, and is the most widely used of the high strength titanium alloys. Apart from the weight saving capabilities and tensile strength over steel, they are one of the factory upgrades you can make to your own bike.
