You might have well experienced the increasing clutch clearance on the CRF250R and CRF450R bikes when the engine is getting hotter.

This additional and annoying clearance is caused by the difference in expansion rate of the alloy crank case and the steel rod that operates the clutch. Many racers tend to adjust their clutch when hot. 

However, then the problem is a partially operating and slipping clutch when the engine is cold as there now is a "negative clearance". 

ProX is offering a solution to this problem with the specially developed Clutch Reducer Rod. This Clutch Reducer Rod is designed from different high grade materials using an alloy center of the rod combined with hardened steel rod ends. The alloy rod has an equal thermal expansion as the alloy engine cases so the additional clearance is reduced to a minimum no matter if the engine is cold or warm. As the alloy has weak mechanical properties on wear, the rod has 2 hardened steel tip to eliminate wear and offer superior durability.
